Our subscriptions run for a minimum period of one year from the date when you enter into an agreement with us. At the end of the first year the agreement will automatically renew unless you tell us you wish to cancel it.
We understand that it is very difficult to accurately predict how many manuscripts your users will submit in any particular month, and that there may be peaks and troughs. The monthly price for the platform is based on the average number of manuscripts you expect to receive each month over the course of a year, meaning that your costs are averaged out over the year in the same way that the number of manuscripts can be averaged out over the year.
We value your business, so if at the end of the year we find that you have gone over your total slightly we will absorb the cost. If you exceed the total significantly, or consistently exceed your monthly total, we reserve the right to charge you extra.
Just as it is very easy to underestimate how many papers your publication will receive, we recognise that it is easy to overestimate the total. We will keep your account under review, and if at the end of the year your total would place you in a lower band we will let you know at renewal time.
Subscriptions are for one year. Unfortunately, as a quid pro quo for giving you a discount if you pay for the year up front, we will not be able to give you a refund if you decide to leave part way through your subscription.
Large publications will often need some bespoke solutions, not least to stop costs running out of control. Please contact us to discuss your particular needs if you would like to use the Amprep platform for a large publication.
